Who we are

TKS Staffing Limited is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website. Our registered office is College Business Centre, Uttoxeter New Road, Derby DE22 3WZ. What we collect and why

We only collect information you choose to give us through one of the forms on this site. We do not buy contact data, and we do not track you across other websites.

Care enquiries and assessment requests

When you send a care enquiry, request a callback or ask for a care assessment, we collect your name, phone number and email address, along with whatever you tell us about the person needing care. That can include their age, the area they live in, their mobility, the support they need and, if you choose to tell us, information about their health or a diagnosis.

Information about someone's health is special category data under UK GDPR. We only ask for it because it is necessary to work out what care would help, and every health question on our forms is optional. We rely on your consent to process it, and on our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry for the rest.

We use this information to call you back, to arrange and prepare for a care assessment, and to set up care if you decide to go ahead. We do not use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to.

Job applications

When you apply for a role we collect your contact details, your availability, your experience and qualifications, your right to work status, anything you write in your supporting statement, and your CV if you attach one. We use this to assess your application and to contact you about it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only where we need to:

• With the suppliers who run our website hosting and email delivery, who process it on our instructions only.
• With health and social care professionals involved in your care, such as a GP, district nurse or local authority, where you have agreed to it or where there is a safeguarding duty to do so.
• With the Care Quality Commission or another regulator, where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to care are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Records relating to care we have provided are kept for as long as health and social care record keeping requirements demand. Unsuccessful job applications are kept for a limited period in case another suitable role comes up, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted in some circumstances, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time where we relied on consent. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
